Over the past six months or so, I’ve been consistently practicing kettlebell juggling once again with a focus on double flips (and occasionally triples). Here are several moves I’ve been doing in recent workouts.
- Double Vertical
- Double and Triple Helicopter Spins
- Double Bottoms Up Flip Out
- Double Side to Side Flips
What does a workout going after these look like? Below shows the workout from which the last video was filmed.
- KBJ 16kg OH Double Reverse Flip x 23/16 = 39
- KBJ 16kg OH Double Flip x 23/21 = 44
- KBJ Side to Side Double Flip (no return double) x 12,3 = 15
- KBJ Side to Side Double Flip (w/ return) x 1,1,2,4,8 = 16
- Outside to Inside x 4,28 = 32
- Outside to Outside x 2,3,10 = 15
- 24kg Double Alternating Uppercut Flip x 1,1,5 = 7
- Total Double Flips x 168
Each move an aim is to do more in a single set and/or in volume. I also am aiming to increase the weight when and where I can, as well as the total volume.
