A question I’m often asked is what kind of water filter do I recommend?

If you’re on a municipal tap water supply, you absolutely want to be filtering your water in some form or fashion.
Because tap water is filled with stuff like:

- Fluoride (even though thankfully the process of removing this from the supply is underway due to recent court cases)

- Lead (heavy metal that lowers IQ)
- Microplastics (not just food but in the water you drink)
- PFAS (forever chemicals from Teflon that have atrocious effects)
- Pharmaceuticals (trace amounts of SSRI’s, birth control and more make it into the tap)
A resource I always point to is the Environmental Working Group’s Tap Water database. All you have to do is enter your zip code to see what is there.
