  1. Still have some of your Dads equiptment from his store in Holyoke mass, wife and i drove down back in the late 70,s to pick up. Do you plan on building some of his old designs? Can you send me a cataloge please?

  2. Ed was a gentleman. In the mid 1980’s he officiated a powerlifting meet in Berlin, NH and did his muscle control performing act to the song, “let’s get physical “. I recorded that performance and still have it today. I also still use much of his equipment in a gym that I founded with others in the 1970’s..

    1. IS JUBINVILLE EQUIPMENT STILL AVAILABLE, AS MY HOME GYM IS 90 PERCENT JUBINVILLE FROM THE 70S AS GOOD NOW AS EVER, WOULD LIKE SOME MORE!

      1. Hey Mike, you still inthe market to get more equipment. I have 6 or 7 pieces of ed jubinville equipment. Stuff last forever. I bought mine late 70’s

        1. Well,I found a home made standing preacher curl bench similar to a Larry Scott bench, I’m waiting for the seller to get back to me this evening. I like ebay because its a safe way to conduct business buying items. So far in ten years I haven’t had any problems. I don’t do Craig’s list or meet ups with people. The world we live in now isn’t the 70’s……

          1. Flat bench with preacher curl attachment and the bars for dips, incline bench, sit up bench, lat machine the bigger one he sold has the pulley down low for rowing, calf machine, leg extension leg curl bench and hack squat machine. It got a lot of use back in the day. Last forever as you know very good shape. I believe that is all I have.

          2. Hey did you get my reply. I’d rather it go to someone who knows. Let me know

          3. I replied back on November 27th with the list. Forgot to list sit up bench. Don’t know if you got the message or not. If so and not interested can you let me know.

        2. Hi Bill,
Do you still have any jubinville equipment left? I am looking for the Jubinville back pullover machine?

      1. What are you after? I am selling off my gym. Have 7 or 8 pieces of jubinville equipment. Had 3300 lbs vintage weights mostly york. I’m down to around 1000 lbs left. Love for my equipment to go to a jubinville fan. He made it to last for sure. Mines around 44 years old and about like new. Never outside

      2. Hey Howard, look at my post above from November 27th. I listed the pieces I have. What state do you live in? I’m in Maryland just outside of Baltimore. One piece I missed on the list above is a fixed military press bench.

  3. I won Mr. New England in 1975 at Mountain Park.

I am 75 now and still train on the machines I bought from Ed.

    1. Folks: I’m late to this discussion and in Mass. Had 3 pieces of jubinville over the years but with all the moves had to let them go. Have been looking for the lat machine, self contained pulley. Loved how they were all (almost ) easy to get through a doorway, except for the welded incline. If anyone selling the lat machine, would love to hear. Thanks, Kevin

      1. KH, I have 8 pieces of Ed Jubinville equipment. As much as hate giving it up. I believe it’s time. I’m moving and losing my 1600 sq ft basement gym. I bought it all in the late 70s as a teenager and been with me for 45 years. Like new ed made it to last didn’t he? Anyway I have the lat machine that’s 4 post has the 3 pulleys up top for lat pull downs and the bottom so you can sit and do rows. I’d love for it to go to someone like yourself that knows and appreciates the old school. My basement looks like a ed jubinville catalog.

  7. I always hope to see a jubinville preacher curl bench for sale on ebay. So far no luck. I wish I knew someone that wants to sell theirs .Rusty, dirty, torn pads are not a problem. I’m ready to pay! Also looking for a York horseshoe muscle builder. One just sold last week on ebay for $200.00.

    1. I have flat bench with preacher curl attachment. But I reckon you’re looking for one called cadillac curling unit?? I hate to get rid of my gym but I’m moving to a smaller house. No more 1800 sq ft gym. If your interested in any of Ed’s equipment let me know. I’d really like it to go to someone who knows about jubinville.

  8. Jeremy, Who is your mother or father? Ed Jubinville is my grandfather.

    1. Hi Melissa, I have a few pieces of equipment from your grandfather I would sell. I have a flat bench, an incline bench and Roman chair . Let me know if you’re interested.

    2. Hello Melissa, I am writing to you as one who may have information on my late husband’s (only three months ago) Jubinville equipment in his dinosaur gym. Bill did serious Olympic weightlifting, particularly in the late 1950’s and early 1960’s. He left two Jubinville machines, a calf raise machine and a vertical leg press. I can send you photos if you wish. I believe Bill ordered these in the late 1980’s or early 1990’s. So, they may have been made by one of Ed’s sons who made some of the equivalent after his Dad stopped. I have viewed the posts on legendarystrength.com, but some are a couple years old. I’d like to be put in touch with any interested buyers. I want to respect my husband’s memory and love of his gym by finding someone who would appreciate the equipment. Thank you in advance for your help/referrals/contacts.

      1. Barbara,

I’d be interested in the equipment. I unfortunately do not have any of his original pieces. Although my Pepe retired from the business in the 80s, he was still very much involved and at the shop until his passing in 1993. My Aunt Karen and Uncle Bobby were both very involved in the business after his retirement. The family would gather at the shop from time to time to see each other. If you could send me pictures of what you have I’d greatly appreciate it – [email protected]

  9. Does anyone still have any of Ed Jubinville’s Equipment, I am interested in purchasing if so.

    1. HI Melissa, i have 2.5lb waffle plates that are gold. Let me know if you want them. tyvm Mark 503 484 5258
