Downward Dog Dynamic Stretching

In Bodyweight Mastery by Logan ChristopherLeave a Comment

Downward dog is a great stretch of the hamstrings along with the upper back and shoulder region.

And with dynamic positions we can bring in a wide variety of other areas too.

This list is comprehensive but does not cover every single possibility.

• Dip the head down between the arms
• Pick up one leg and extend it up as high as it can go
• Pick up one leg and lift it up and over the other side of the body, typically bending the knee
• Lift one arm up
• Do a Hindu pushup, coming through a pushup to arch and back up
• Do a dive bomber pushup

This is one of just 12 stretches each with a list of dynamic versions and progressions found inside of 7 Minute Flexibility
