How do you deal with joint pain? Most people had this problem at one point of their lives so it’s definitely something worth addressing.
One of the most important things to look for is the cause of your joint pain. If you are able to pinpoint the exact cause of joint pain, you might be able to eliminate the cause or take certain steps to help you get rid of joint pain.
Many people suffer from this problem due to excessive exercising, whereas some people do not exercise at all and still suffer from regular joint pain. Obviously, exercising can help you with joint pain, but it can also cause it. It’s all about moderation, how it’s done and your body.
First of all, you need to listen to your body. If you exercise more than you should or you are doing workouts which are obviously not good for YOUR joints – listen to your body and joints! stop doing that particular exercise, try a different variation or stop doing it altogether for a while.
Everybody is unique, so every exercise can be harmful for certain individuals, but corrective for others. You just need to listen to your body and find out what works the best for you. For instance, a lot of people suffer from joint pain due to the way they lift weights so switching to bodyweight exercises might be beneficial. On the other hand, I know a lot of people who are working towards that one arm chin-up and they often complain about joint pain in their elbow. It’s all about the volume and the way you perform certain exercise.
Another important thing is to have the right mind set. There are many ways to get rid of joint pain, but you need to be persistent and keep looking for the right answer. A wide range of therapies and different options may help you with that, but you need to test them in order to find the one that works for you.
For chronic issues, I like to think that every cell in your body is replacing itself. What this means is that your cells replace themselves over a period of 7 years, so you basically get a whole new body every 7 years. Thus, if there is a problem which lasts for a long time, there has to be something keeping it there. And this doesn’t have to be just a physical problem, but also a mental or emotional one. For this reason, you can do a lot of mental and energetic stuff to dramatically help you with any sort of pain you may have. While this doesn’t necessarily works for everyone, it works for a lot of people. It definitely helped me with a wrist pain I had.
As always, the nutrition is a part of many problems and solutions. One of the best things for inflammation is fish oil, followed by krill oil, especially in combination with astaxanthin which works a whole lot better for certain types of joint pain – like arthritis and similar inflammatory issues.
There are plenty of topical medications which might help you with this issue, like DMSO. I know I gave you a lot of options, but sometimes that’s what it takes to get rid of joint pain. It’s better to address a certain issue through multi pronged approach than to focus on one single thing that might not work for you.
Joint mobility is a whole another subject which definitely helps a lot of people who suffer from joint pain. My own take on this one is explained through several different options in “How to feel like a billion dollars“.
Finally, all this stuff works if you take certain steps in terms of prevention like listening to your body and exercising in moderation. The other option is to be very young, but unless you discover a magical potion – you are stuck with these solutions!
