  1. Yo Logan! Very interesting to hear your 30 Day Vegan Challenge and how it all went! I’ve personally also have witnessed the chapped lips when my Omega 3 intake WASN’T high enuff or from good and high quality sources! So I figured back then in June of last year (just like you over here!), that it’s probably an Omega 3 Deffiency in the body… I actually made that connection because I had NEVER been taking any Omega 3 Source whatsoever, not from fish oil, not from krill oil or from Chia Seeds… None of that! So I the Chapped lips definitely came from too MANY omega 6 in relation to Omega 3…

Plus I heard Dr. Mercola. Dr. Dave, David Wolfe and Ori Hofmekler talk about how Super IMPROTANT Omega 3 is for EVERY cell in the body for superior & radiant health! Which I’m ALL about! So I bought the Krill Oil from Dr. Mercola’s site and STILL use it to this very day and I will keep on using it untill my dying day… because it’s CRUCIAL for overall supreme Health & longevity! Like we BOTH know already! So definitely man, chapped lips can be cured by upping the Omega 3 intake in your diet, plus it can help Heal & Fix a shitload of MORE problems, which I WON’T go into right now, because then it would take me way too long to mention ALL of the damn symptoms…

Besides, I also love the fact that you mention that you eat Chia Seeds together with Raw Honey & Coconut Butter! It’s funny though and a weird coincidence that I, personally ALSO eat a mix of those foods together & its actually one of my favourite shake meals out there! Only I eat Coconut Butter, RAW Manuka Honey, Coconut Oil, Chia Seeds, Pure Power Protein from Dr. Mercola (ANY flavour will do, Although I prefer CHOCOLATE the BEST, who doesn’t?), Then I also throw in Vanilla Whey Protein, which I mix together with the Chocolate PLUS some Cinnamon, Strawberries, Blueberries and RAW Cocoa as well! Blend that shit up & that’s my usual Dessert Drink/Shake! But like I mention, I use the Honey & Coconut a LOT, those 2 mix together like Magic! Same goes for Chocolate (cocoa) & Vanilla! Damn good stuff right there!

All in all, a very good podcast! I’ve enjoyed listen to it and it’s good to hear & know that we’ve got a couple of things in common when it comes down to our diet & way of life! And let’s not forget the Training that we do, that shit ALSO looks familiar and simulair in a lotta ways! That’s what makes us Physical Culture Renaissance Men!

So once again, Good stuff and keep this sh*t up! I already look forward to the next Podcast!

@Matti: Thanks. Yeah those foods are some of my staples and I’m not surprised to hear you like them that much too.

  2. I once tried raw vegan diet for a few weeks, and my libido nearly disappeared … that was the end of the experiment.
this was probably due to a lack of calories and/or low protein content in the diet. I went back to a diet with plenty of raw food, somme steam cooked veggies and cereals, fish, eggs and french cheese and my libido came back …

  3. Kudos my brother. I’ve been vegan for 23 years. I hope you stick with it. 🙂

  4. See different results for different people. Paul’s libido disappeared. Mark’s been doing it well for 23 years. That’s why you have to experiment for yourself and find what works for YOU.
