I saw this video about the Robocop carry from my friend, the Mad Scientist of Muscle, Nick Nilsson and just had to share it with you.
It’s one of the coolest exercises I’ve seen in awhile that I hadn’t seen before. I don’t have all those tools in the same way, but the next time I have a chance I’ll be trying out something similar.
I don’t know if you know this, but loaded carries of all types are one of the biggest bang for you buck exercises there are. There are many ways you can do them, and many tools can be used for the job, yet they all deliver.
We tend to get caught up in the basics of pushes, pulls, deadlifts and squats, but some type of carrying ought to be considered a basic too.
After all, as humans, we tend to carry things. So its a useful movement pattern to do.
